The alliance’s market efforts will focus on eastern and central Europe, as both companies have received interest from their network operator customers in these markets.
Under the deal, G&D will provide SIM cards for bill payment, mobile commerce and prepaid reloading of SIM cards. Euronet will supply applications for mobile recharging, mobile banking and mobile bill payment service.
In addition, Euronet will also provide the processing infrastructure for the mobile recharge of cards at various terminals.
