Wind River Systems Inc, the Alameda, California-based provider of real-time operating systems and development tools for embedded systems, has reported second-quarter pro forma net income up 1.8% at $6.0m on revenue up 24.5% at $39.6m. Earnings per share rose 7.8% to $0.14, one penny shy of analysts’ expectations. For the six-month period, net income rose 5.6% to $10.7m on revenue up 24.9% at $73.1m, while EPS rose $0.01 to $0.24. All results exclude $2.1m in one-time charges for the quarter and $2.9m for the six months. After charges, net income for the quarter was $4.2m, or $0.10 per share, while six-month net income was $8.5m or $0.19 per share. á
