Under the terms of the contract, DTS will perform operations, maintenance, and support of prepositioned war reserve materiel in southwest Asia and operation of supply stock control at Shaw Air Force Base in South Carolina. The program will
employ more than 950 personnel, including U.S., British, and local nationals,as well as employees from other countries. Geographically, the program willcover six operating sites in three Middle Eastern countries.
The cost-plus-fixed-fee contract further builds the DTS presence in theMiddle East. If all options are exercised, the contract will run from July2000 through April 2007, with a cumulative contract total of more than $169million.
