Commenting on its figures (see below), Gresham Telecomputing Plc notes that sales were almost unchanged after stripping out discontinued hardware operations, and says the rise in profits provides some real evidence that allowing the company’s core business to dictate the pace and direction of development was a sound decision. The figures are still without significant contribution from sales of the new open systems product line. Turnover was based largely on the old ICL mainframe products. At the very end of the period first revenues were received from sales of tp+ by D & B Software, but build-up to a flow of orders has been slower than expected.
