DUMPING DUTIES STAY ON NEC SUPERCOMPUTERS

NEC Corp lost its appeal to the US Supreme Court Monday against anti-dumping import duties imposed by the US government. In 1997, the US government decided to impose a 454% duty on NEC supercomputer sales into the US. NEC has not sold a supercomputer in the US since.
