The implementation is expected to improve efficiency, reduce costs, increase accuracy and extent management control across all the bank’s treasury activities.

In addition, Reuters aims to facilitate the development of Dubai Bank’s trade and risk management processes and systems.

With transaction volumes steadily rising, we now have the technology and skill to offer our clients new levels of service excellence, said Biswajit Dasgupta, head of treasury, Dubai Bank. We are also pleased to have the ability to support the expansion of our trading activities.

Dasgupta added that the bank’s decision to deploy the Reuters program was based on the company’s ability to provide a full front to back trading system with integrated enterprise-wide risk management.
