According to DRC, using DecisionMakerMobile, insurance customers can be notified of upcoming payments, pay bills, download insurance identification cards, report claims and file endorsements with attachments.
The company said that insurers using new solution can apply their own company branding to applications and distribute them to their customers through iTunes store. In addition to iPhone, the new services can be utilized through iPad for claims adjuster entry and quoting of amendments, endorsements or new business.
Regardless of the back end system generating the request, DecisionMakerMobile can be configured to connect to the platform and complete a transaction through standard internet protocols.
In addition, DRC is partnering with a client to complete delivery of a branded iPhone application that the client will make available to its customers through iTunes store. It will also be launching a new version for Android before the end of year.
Karen Yamamoto, executive vice president of DRC, said: “DecisionMakerMobile technology will allow carriers to improve the customer experience by making their system adapt to the customer’s schedule thereby strengthening the relationships with the customer.”
