DPCE WINS UKP1.8m CONTRACT TO DO COMMODORE’s WARRANTY REPAIR WORK IN UK

By CBR Staff Writer

DPCE Plc has signed a five year agreement with Commodore International Ltd to cover the first year warranty on equipment and to provide refurbishment work on the entire Commodore range in the UK. The deal, worth UKP1.8m in the first 12 months, offers on-site maintenance for large business users and a return-to-base option for all levels. DPCE says it will be able to supply spares for Commodore equipment that has passed its warranty date. A new 15,000 square foot repair centre has been set up in Telford, Shropshire to carry out the contract with the creation of 20 jobs. Telford was chosen as the site says DPCE because it is the mid point between Commodore’s 1,000 collection points around the UK.
