Apple Computer Inc suffered a string of brokers’ downgrades yesterday – Bear Stearns analyst Andy Neff cut his 1993 earnings estimates to $3.80 per share from $4.15 and and the 1994 estimate to $3.50 per share from $4.25 and Dean Witter analyst Eugene Glazer cut his third quarter earnings estimate on Apple Computer Inc to $0.52 a share from $0.89, his 1993 estimate to $3.40 a share from $4.00, and his 1994 estimate to $3.90 from $4.50; both said Apple must move quickly to lower prices and slash its cost structure to remain competitive.
