Sales via the company’s eCommerce platform increased by 57.6% last year. TV and Internet ordering now accounts for 11.5% of delivered pizza sales for Domino’s in the UK. The company also opened 50 new stores in 2005, bringing the store total to 407.
We were up against very challenging comparatives over the Christmas period so I was particularly pleased that we beat them, said chief executive Stephen Hemsley. The opening of 50 new stores in 2005 fully meets our target for the year and exceeds most commentators’ expectations.
