Officials at the Pleasanton, California-based firm attribute the 32% revenue increase to a mix of greater transactions, customer wins, and acquisitions. However, Documentum’s net loss for the quarter widened to $5m, from a loss of $1.7m in the same period a year ago. The quarter’s loss includes a hefty one-time restructuring charge amounting to $12m. The results fell slightly below analyst expectations.
