We plan to offer the 3G service in the European market in the second half of 2002…A launch of the service in the US will follow that, maybe in 2003, Keiji Tachikawa, the company’s president, said to the press.
DoCoMo have 3G plans for Europe and the US
NTT DoCoMo Inc. hopes to launch its second 3G network in Europe and says it could do so by 2002. This could be followed by a US 3G launch by the company in 2003. However, it has no concrete plans for any further Asian launches, outside of Japan.
