According to the report DoCoMo has been in talks with the French regulator, ART, to purchase one of the country’s remaining 3G licenses.
DoCoMo is already the co-owner of 3G licenses in the Netherlands and the UK. It is likely that any bid for a French license would also be made in conjunction with another company, though the Japanese company has not commented on this prospect.
