Cloud-based document and data management firm Docassist is palnning to release the new version of its cloud document management application, Docassist 7.0.

The new release will now come with an improved HTML5 user interface that includes the ability to work with multiple Internet browsers on both PC and Mac operating systems.

Docassist CTO Blake Burdeen said the new HTML5 front-end offers a clean and easy-to-use interface – especially when working with large numbers of documents.

"Combined with our new API, Docassist 7.0 is the easiest to use and the most extensible system in the market," Burdeen said.

Docassist 7.0 also includes other features that enhance scalability, improve performance, and enable integration with Sage Software applications and other ERP, CRM, and HRMS systems.

The new version also features improved integration with any business application and works on current versions of Google Chrome, Apple Safari, Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Internet Explorer.

Docassist CEO Don Lyman said: "Adding easy integration with business applications, combined with our powerful document management features, will deliver an immediate return on investment to our customers."
