Do you suffer from ink anxiety?

New HP printers ease worries by reducing ink costs by 50%.

By CBR Staff Writer

HP has unveiled six new printers under its OfficeJet and Envy lines, reducing ink costs by 50%.

New printers include HP Envy 4520 all-in-one, HP Envy 5540 all-in-one, HP OfficeJet 4650 all-in-one, HP OfficeJet 3830 all-in-one, HP OfficeJet 5741 and HP OfficeJet 5743.

They use a replacement ink service dubbed Instant Ink and start at just $2.99 per month.

HP Instant Ink allows customers to select a subscription plan based on how much they want to print. The company said it is adding more than one new customer every minute in a day.

The sign-up experience has been integrated into the printer set-up out of the box of new printers.

HP said customers can rapidly select the plan that works for them or choose the traditional model of purchasing ink at retail or online when they run low.

Designed for the connected household, the HP ENVY 4520 All-in-One Printer has the option to print lab-quality photos, creative projects, hobbies and business documents from a smartphone or tablet.
