Swiss technology concern Distefora Holding AG has further expanded its presence in the German market via the acquisition of two internet service providers. Its German internet division Ision Internet AG, headquartered in Hamburg, has acquired two ISPs in the same city, namely Lavielle EDV Systemberatung GmbH & Co and Pelikan & Partner PPP Internetdienstleistungen GmbH. Distefora said these latest acquisitions were steps toward Ision’s aim of becoming Europe’s largest internet system integrator.

Ision itself was the result of Glassburg-based Distefora’s April acquisition of IS Internet Services GmbH & Co. At that time it announced its intention of merging the new acquisition with its 74%-owned UK ISP Netdirect Internet, from London, into a larger entity to be called European Internet Services (EIS) and seeking a listing for the latter in the Neuer Markt in Frankfurt.
