Disney plans to integrate iParenting’s content, reviews and services into Disney Online’s family targeted sites such as Disney Family.com, FamilyFun.com, and Wondertime.com. The content will also include product review site iParenting Media Awards.

Paul Yanover, managing director at Disney Online said: iParenting has built a strong, trusted reputation among parents, and we feel the site is a perfect complement to our overall portfolio of family-targeted, online brands.

According to Comscore, iParenting and its related sites reach about 600,000 unique visitors each month. The iParenting site itself attracted 206,000 visitors in October 2007.

Recently, another media company Fox Entertainment Group enhanced its online presence by acquiring Beliefnet, a popular religion website in the US. It plans to use the site to promote religious and spiritual content such as films from Fox Faith as well as books from News Corp.’s HarperCollins book-publishing arm.
