DIRECTORS OF GENERAL MOTORS AND ROSS PEROT FACE DERIVATIVE SHAREHOLDER ACTION

The directors of General Motors Corp, and Ross Perot, now face a derivative shareholder action brought on behalf of the company by a holder of 500 GM shares, seeking damages for GM from the individuals concerned, on the grounds that the $750m pay-off to Perot was counter to their fiduciary duty to GM.
