DIALOGIC TO ACQUIRE GAMMALINK IN SHARE EXCHANGE

By CBR Staff Writer

Parsippany, New Jersey-based Dialogic Corp is to acquire GammaLink Inc in an exchange of shares. Dialogic is a supplier of modular call processing technology products, and GammaLink provides systems for computer-based facsimile applications. The deal is subject to approval by Dialogic’s shareholders before it is finalised. If the merger goes through, Gammalink will retain its Sunnyvale, California headquarters and continue to operate as a separate entity. The parties, both privately owned so no value was put on the proposed transaction, say that they plan to pursue joint development and marketing programmes and offer improved, integrated voice and facsimile technologies as a result of the link-up, according to a Dialogic spokesman.
