The company says DBM will become the third Flexcube customer in Mauritius, and one of 50 Flexcube deployments in East Africa.

DBM is making a transition from being a development bank to a commercial bank, and says it wanted a solution that could enhance its flexibility, agility and customer responsiveness. The bank made the selection as part of a global tender after evaluating products of four international banking software vendors.

i-flex says its software integrates easily with legacy back-office systems, supports multiple delivery channels, improves customer service with higher cross-sell rates, reduces operating costs, and offers real-time processing and centralized maintenance.

Since its launch in 1997, more than 280 financial institutions in over 100 counties have deployed Flexcube.
