DEUTSCHE TELEKOM SHARES HIT THEIR LOWEST YET

Shares in Deutsche Telekom AG hit their lowest level since flotation late last year, 29.8 Marks, as holders, particularly in the US, took profits. Separately, the German phone company said it would make a general statement about 1996 earnings and outlook for 1997 at the Cebit show in Hannover in March.
