According to the company, GovWin is the business development and capture software designed specifically for government contractors. With this release, GovWin is now capable of managing the complete procurement cycle, from opportunity identification and management, to contract award, contract data management and closeout.
Deltek has said that with this release of GovWin all the terms and conditions of the contract are immediately available, such as, contract values, modification values, standard clauses, special provision, and contract type. This removes the inefficiencies of conducting manual searches in an attempt to report across business programs and business units on such items as fee amounts, percentage on all cost type contracts, contract values containing a specific clause and active contracts containing specific clauses. The release also allows users to store, manage and search all procurement documents throughout the project lifecycle.
