DELTA CHANGES FINES ON NON-NET FARES TO WEB DISCOUNTS

Delta Air Lines has apparently taken ComputerWire’s advice (CI No 3,585) and replaced its $2 surcharge on round trips purchased off the net with special Web Fares for those who make reservations online. Delta dropped the surcharge after travel agents mobilized against it. Instead, it plans to offer internet buyers discounted fares every Wednesday for travel on the same weekend. á
