Toronto, Canada-based Delrina Corp – on its way to Symantec Corp (CI No 2,701) – has been demonstrating the Windows95 version of its flagship WinFax Pro facsimile software. The upcoming version, which is scheduled for launch in the next quarter, is said to offer additional features including the ability to send facsimile up to 33% faster; send high quality gray scale images; automate recurring facsimile transmissions; and produce enhanced cover pages. Other enhancements include a souped-up database engine, and facsimile preview and annotation capabilities. When the product ships, it will also include a bundled version of Xerox Corp’s TextBridge optical character recognition software.
