DELPHI’s INTERSKILL GROWS WITH THE ACQUISITION OF DB ASSOCIATES

By CBR Staff Writer

Delphi Group Plc’s fledgling systems development and training business, Interskill has been augmented by the acquisition of DBI Associates, a Leamington Spa, Warwickshire consultancy and temporary senior staff supplier. DBI specialises in supplying staff to the public sector. Delphi is perhaps better known under its former moniker, Computer People. It will pay an initial consideration of ú500,000 with a ú1.25m earn-out, dependent on DBI’s profitability. DBI, which was formed in 1984 and counts the UK Department of Health and Ministry of Defence among its customers, will continue to trade under its own name within Delphi Group. Interskill had turnover of ú1.6m in the six months to June 30. DBI’s figures were unavailable.
