Delphax Systems Inc of Randolph, Massachusetts, has a $10m, two year order from Northern Telecom under which the Canadian will market Delphax ion printers for high-speed, high-volume remote printing applications: the deal covers the 30 page per minute model that will go into Northern Telecom’s Model 76KT-I30 Printing System combined with its new high-speed remote job entry communications controller, while the Delphax S6000-2 60 page per minute printer will be sold as a Model 6460 with its Model 76 controller; prices will be $25,400 for the 30ppm, $69,000 for the 60ppm – but without the controller; Delphax is jointly owned by Xerox Corp and Dennison Manufacturing Co.
