IntelliCorp announced Wednesday that Deloitte Consulting will use its enterprise resource planning lifecycle management products as a standard part of its SAP R/3 implementation methodology, which it says will enable customers to maximize return and control operating costs.

The agreement, which extends a three-year relationship between the two companies, sees New York-based Deloitte adopt three of IntelliCorp’s products: LiveModel IndustryPrint Edition for business process management (BPM); LiveInterface for enterprise application integration (EAI); and LiveCompass for post-implementation business and system changes.

Mountain View, California-based IntelliCorp says its LiveModel IndustryPrint Edition reduces SAP implementation time by between 20% and 40% while LiveInterface brings down interface development time by 30% to 70%. Post-implementation, IntelliCorp’s LiveCompass extracts business processes from SAP R/3 into a repository that can speed up upgrades, multi-site roll-outs and ongoing business improvements.

The agreement came two days after Netherlands-based fellow ERP implementer Origin BV said that it had licensed IntelliCorp’s LiveModel and LiveCompass to support its new Overture outsourcing initiative.
