Dell Computer Corp reckons its UK business, starting from Ground Zero last June, now accounts for about 15% of its total business; the company’s 1987 turnover – then still mainly US business – was $159m: making a few assumptions, that implies that UK business is running at some $3m a month – perhaps a shade under UKP20m on an annualised basis.
