DELL OFFERS MS-OS/2 STANDARD EDITION 1.0

Dell Computer Corp, Austin, Texas is offering MS-OS/2 Standard Edition 1.0 as adapted by Dell to improve disk input-output and VGA video support for its 80286- and 80386-based personal computers: it claims that it is faster than the IBM or Compaq versions – up to 50% faster than the IBM version, and with it, users can install OS/2, MS-DOS and Xenix on the same hard disk; it costs $325 and comes with both 5.25 and 3.5 floppy media.
