DELL HAS THE NEW SYSTEMS 200 AND 300

Dell Computer (UK) has replaced its existing 80286 and 386 boxes with the Systems 200 and 300: the 200 uses 12.5MHz 80286, up to 4.6Mb memory, 3.5 1.44Mb floppies and a 150Mb 18mS access Winchester at between UKP1,300 and UKP2,600, UKP600 extra for VGA colour; the 300 uses a 16MHz 80386 and the same disk options as the 200, but up to 16Mb memory, at from UKP2,800, UKP400 less than the previous 386 box; both run OS/2, and Dell has added 15 proprietary utilities to MS-DOS 3.3 for automatic hard disk configure, improved disk access and encryption.
