DELL AND MOBIL STRIKE $75M DEAL AS EXXON MOVES IN

Dell Computer Corp has won a $75m, three-year contract to supply PCs, notebooks and servers to Mobil Corp. The oil company hopes to cut its costs by 25% through the deal. The announcement comes as Exxon Corp and Mobil confirmed they were holding talks that could lead to the largest industrial merger ever on Friday. Exxon is the largest US oil company and Mobil the second largest.
