Dell has released a trio of new XPS laptops – the XPS 11, XPS 13 and XPS 15.
The XPS11 has an 11.6-inch display, while the XPS 15 and XPS 13 are 15.6-inch and 13.3-inch versions respectively. All are said to be lighter, thinner and faster than the previous generations.
The 11.6-inch model has a screen resolution of 2,560 x 1,440, the 13.3-inch model has a full HD 1,920 x 1,080 touchscreen display, while the 15.6-inch 3200 x 1800 display delivers the highest resolution in its class, according to Dell.
The XPS 11 is 11-15mm thin and weighs 1.1kg, the XPS 13 is 6-19mm thin and weighs 1.36kg, whereas the XPS 15 is about 0.7-inch thick, weighing 2kg.
The XPS 15 model comes with Intel Core i5 and i7 quad core processors and NVIDIA options, which can handle graphic and design tasks faster than before. There’s also up to 16GB of RAM and plenty of storage available with a 1TB hard drive and 32 GB SSD.
The XPS 11 comes with fourth-generation Intel Core i3 or Core i5 processors and is also a 2-in-1 convertible that allows you to flip the display 360 degrees to use the hybrid in laptop mode.
The XPS 13 has been upgraded to Intel i3, i5 and i7 processors with a longer battery life of 10.5 hours.
Pricing and release dates for the XPS products are said to be available in the coming weeks.
