Computer maker Dell said that it would remain committed to commercial channel partners worldwide and announced further enhancements to its PartnerDirect programme to media and analysts on Friday.
Dell said it would continue to strengthen its PartnerDirect programme with an enhanced global Networking & Security Certification that would include the best of the Dell and Force10 programmes and a new U.S. Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Partner Solution through which qualifying partners will receive exclusive EMR deal registration, Dell EMR Solution Partner branding and access to the Dell Solution Center.
Dell Global Commercial Channels vice president and general manager Greg Davis said, today, customers are looking beyond the box.
"That’s why we remain dedicated to building a world-class channel program and investing in solutions that meet the dynamic needs of our customers," he added.
Along with its partners, Dell has been delivering end-to-end IT offerings that would cater to meet the needs and challenges of today’s businesses. There are around 100,000 value added resellers (VARs), systems integrators, IT resellers and solutions providers who are now a part of Dell’s global PartnerDirect programme.
It had a 58,000 deal registrations in the third quarter of 2011. Revenue from the PartnerDirect programme was reportedly more than 30% of Dell’s global commercial revenue for the same period.
Davis added that Force10 networking products are now available to all qualified channel partners and that they plan to launch Dell
KACE products in five new languages this year.
