DECISION DATA TO MARKET IPL’S TAPE DRIVE SUBSYSTEMS

IPL Systems Inc has signed Decision Data Computer Corp to a three-year agreement under which the Horsham, Pennsylvania company will market IPL’s tape drive subsystems under the Decision Data name for the IBM AS/400 and 36-38 markets: the 6860 Tape Subsystem is a high densitycartridge tape back-up system for System/38, 4300 and 9370 processors, and cramming over 2Gb of data onto a single 8mm tape cartridge.
