DEC TO ANNOUNCE THE SYMMETRICAL MULTIPROCESSOR VAX

Tuesday, March 8 is D for DEC or V for VAX day: the company has inked in a meeting for that day widely thought to have been called for announcement of the symmetrical multiprocessor VAX consisting of four VAX 8700 processors running under a one copy of the planned 5.0 release of the VMS operating system.
