Digital Equipment Corporation is well-positioned to start growing again after four grim years when they suffered losses, restructuring and redundancies, according to chief executive Robert Palmer. Speaking at the opening of a $10m research laboratory in Singapore, he said that Digital had made investments during the last four years for where we believe the market is going. He said the company was well-placed with products in 64-bit computing, Windows NT and the Internet.
