DE LA RUE PRINTRAK HAS ORDER FROM CHINA FOR ORION

Following news that the Belgian Ministry of Justice is to use De La Rue Printrak Ltd’s fingerprint identification system Orion (CI No 1,113), the company has also signed a $3.1m contract with the Ministry of Public Security in Peking for the system: once Orion is installed in Peking and all the Chinese character software approved, further orders are likely to take the system into other cities and provinces.
