DE-INDUSTRIALISATION OF JAPAN BEGINS IN EARNEST AS NEC TURNS TO KOREA AND TAIWAN

The de-industrialisation of Japan seems to have begun in earnest: NEC Corp says it will spend a total of $126.5m annually buying consumer electronic goods for re-export from two Korean firms, Gold Star Co and Daewoo Corp, and one Taiwanese firm, Teco Electric & Machinery Co.
