DCI Cheese implements Robocom’s supply chain software

DCI Cheese Company, a manufacturer and supplier of cheese products, has implemented Robocom's Inventory Management System, a warehouse management system from Robocom Systems International, in the company's Green Bay, Wisconsin facility.

According to Robocom, the successful implementation of Robocom’s Inventory Management System (RIMS) will manage the company’s finished goods and raw material inventory.

Green Bay is the second distribution center in which DCI has implemented Robocom’s warehouse management system (WMS) software. Its first RIMS location is in Moonachie, New Jersey.

Kevin McCarthy, information technology director at DCI Cheese, said: This project is critical to DCI’s growth in the marketplace and Robocom partnered with our team to achieve a significant success. We are expecting to realize significant efficiencies in our warehouse operations and perhaps more importantly a reduction in cycle times in fulfilling our customers demands due to increased data visibility. We are now focusing on the RIMS installation at our new operation in Carlstadt, New Jersey.
