By CBR Staff Writer

Dazel Corp, the print management software house that just won itself $9.5m in third round venture capital funding, is shipping a Dazel software development kit for Windows and Unix, enabling independent software vendors to integrate their applications with version 2.4 of the Dazel Output Management System and Dazel Express client (CI No 2,812). The development kit can be used in conjunction with tools from Powersoft Corp and Dynasty Technologies Inc, as well as production applications including SAP AG’s R/3, and Oracle. Dazel Output Server runs under SunOS, Solaris, HP-UX and AIX. The Output Management System comprises the Output Server Unix core, Dazel Express client and Dazel Gateway for mainframe, NetWare and VAX communications. Dazel Express is enhanced to include support for Windows95 and NT. Dazel software development kit for Windows starts at $200 per developer, while kits for Solaris, HP-UX and AIX are from $500.
