Dazel Corp’s now offering version 3.0 of its output management server which enables organizations to distribute print, fax, page, file transfer, email and web material to users. 3.0 is the company’s first full-blown port to Windows NT and can send output to mixed Unix and NT environments. It comes with a new Destination Manager which enables multiple devices to be controlled by a single process. It also includes enhanced fax, printer, web and mainframe printing services; a broadcast distribution service; support for SAP R/3 and Windows security mechanisms and simplified installation and configuration. 3.0 ships next month priced at $60,000 for a 150-user server on Solaris, AIX, HP-UX or NT. Clients are $100 per user.
