MLG, which is principally engaged in the provision of laundry, linen and operating theatre services to hospitals, operates from five processing facilities: Charnwood, Rubery, Whitley, Swindon and Chesterfield.
In the year ended 31 January 1999 MLG achieved a profit before tax and exceptional items of gbp2.2 million on a turnover of gbp16.6 million. Net assets at that date were gbp 4.7 million.
The acquisition brings to Sunlight an experienced management team which has specialised in the Healthcare Sector together with additional processing capacity to support development in this area.
