David Systems Inc – Sunnyvale, not Mountain View, where it was transported in CI No 1,091, has appointed Henry Nothhaft, formerly president of the Business Network Systems Group of DSC Communications Corp to be its president and chief executive, taking on both strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the privately-held manufacturer and marketer of voice, data and local networking communications products; Luigi Mercurio, who held both positions, is now president and chief executive position of the new Olivetti Systems and Networks division of the Italian, but retains the post of chairman of David Systems.
