Datacopy Corp, Mountain View, California has signed a joint marketing agreement with Xerox Corp for its Model 730 office image scanner: the Xerox sales force will suggest the Model 730 as Xerox’s scanner of choice for desktop publishing applications, designating it the Model 730X; it is a compact, flatbed image scanner enabling original artwork to be precisely aligned for accurate reproduction; it captures images at 300 dots per inch, matching the resolution of most office laser printers and Xerox will offer the unit for use with its Xerox 6065 Personalike, Ventura Publisher and Z-Soft’s Paintbrush software.
