DATAPOINT UK GETS DAVOX KIT

By CBR Staff Writer

The mystery company taking over UK marketing of the auto-dial, voice response and multi-function workstation systems made by Davox Corp, Billerica, Massachusetts following closure of that company’s UK subsidiary (CI No 1,089), turns out to be Datapoint Corp. Datapoint, in Neasden, NW, sees the line rapidly becoming a new multi-million pound business to set alongside the existing UKP10m a year it does with its automated telephone call centre systems here in the UK. Datapoint also takes on the existing users.
