Datapoint Corp president Robert Potter, part of a group offering $6 a share to take the San Antonio, Texas company private, says that it expects to be solidly profitable over the next several quarters, but declined to give a specific forecast for the third quarter, which ended on April 30: this time last year, the company reported net profit of $4.4m on turnover of $78.7m.
