DATAPOINT PATENT BLOW

Datapoint Corp faces damages of up to $65m after a US Appeals Court reversed an August 1988 decision that although Datapoint had infringed a Northern Telecom Ltd patent on data entry systems, the patent was unenforceable; it will appeal.
