DataMirror shareholders OK IBM merger

Of the 75% DataMirror shareholders that voted, nearly 100% voted in favor of IBM’s $162m bid, which it announced in mid-July this year.

IBM now expects to wrap up the acquisition small print early next week.

Markham, Ontario-based DataMirror adds high-availability, change data capture, and replication tools to IBM’s growing data integration suite. IBM also inherits around 2,200 DataMirror customers.
