The company has released DataJungle Enterprise Pilot Pack for PowerPlay, which bundles in its Matrix and Annotator front-end software extensions.
Matrix is a Web-based custom dashboard generator for OLAP (online analytic processing)/multidimensional database servers. Each Matrix dashboard view links directly to native multidimensional cubes for interactive navigation and analysis. These views can also be embedded into Cognos’ Web-based ReportNet applications or any Web page while still retaining multidimensional interactivity. Annotator provides collaboration through advanced annotation functions – down to an individual cell level.
Integration with PowerPlay is facilitated via Cognos Web Services.
The Pilot Pack is priced at $2,495. DataJungle also provides similar integration extensions for Microsoft Corp’s Analysis Services OLAP software.
Both DataJungle and Cognos are headquartered in Ottawa.
