DataFlux expands US operations

DataFlux Corp, the data quality division of analytics software and solutions giant SAS Institute Inc, has strengthened its regional US presence by opening new offices in Boston, Dallas, Denver and Pittsburgh.

By CBR Staff Writer

Cary, North Carolina-based DataFlux says the expansion is a response to increased demand for data quality solutions. The new offices will be staffed by both sales and support engineers.

DataFlux, which became a wholly owned subsidiary of SAS in 2000, expanded its core technology this summer to include real-time data monitoring, trend reporting and alerting capabilities.

SAS also includes DataFlux’s technology as part of its ETL for the power of Q initiative that fuses together data quality and ETL (extract, load and transform) technologies.
